It is the same with Tomatoes: I have planted Roma-, Beefsteak-, Pear-, Lemonboy- and a couple of other tomato seeds criss-cross in my garden.
The result were yellow tomatoes with orange stripes, orange tomatoes with a yellow interior, yellow roma-tomatoes and even some dark-purple ones.
Will definitely do that again next year!

Went to the grocery this morning to get a cake pan. We have fantasy football draft this afternoon and I've been assigned chocolate cake. I asked at checkout if they get paid extra today. No.

Dang. Over here it's law that a statuary holiday is extra pay.

But, go figure, Good Friday is considered a Stat, but not Easter!

Thay's sort of a thing here too. You get overtime for working easter day, but businesses are allowed to open. Nobody is allowed to work good friday or Christmas here. Boxing day use to be sacrid too but they got rid of that.

Yeah, same. When businesses realized they made more money than the fine they were given for being open on Boxing Day, they flipped their middle finger at the law. It eventually got removed.

Annoys me that we can't all have a nice day off, everyone together. I understand for essential services like hospitals (and even gas stations, although working on Christmas was a pain), but stores do not need to be open. Greed is really starting to get to me in my old age!
