Yeah. I was afraid it had been eaten.

I was terrified each and every day/night that she would be. This is the one I decided to keep, too. Her name is Techno, after the techno music my bf loves to listen to (one of his faults, lol!).

My others are all named after music, too. My two adult does are Disco and Reggae, my buck is Jazz, and one of Reggae's babies that I'm keeping is J-Pop (or JP). I'm going to run out of names eventually if I keep to this theme, lol!

This is Techno. Been reading up on colour genetics, trying to figure out what she is! If you thought duck genetics were difficult...

Duck genetics are impossible. I've been breeding ducks for 5 years and its still ducks are like a box of chocolates, you never know what your are gonna get

The one on the right. And got 5 white hens and one grey bibbed that drake only threw one fawn and white like him off the same hen.

The hen is his daughter. His mom was pekin and dad was fawn and white runner. The hen is also his granddaughter

Today is the fair at St Marys . there are games, roulette for kolaches. Lots of BBQ, homemade cake, an auction of donated items including vacations and heifers furniture and chickens.tractors and spa days. Quite fun. St Mary's is a painted church. A lot of Czech people moved here in the 1800s. They painted all the walls and ceilings inside the churches in intricate designs. These are called painted churches. They even have free bottled water served from a coffin by the local funeral home. Wish you all were here. nothing better than free coffin water.

Dang! This makes the fair I'm going to today sound like a garage sale in a one horse town!
