If you carefully peek through those pesky thick clouds to the East, you may catch a glimpse of the upcoming Weekend!!!

Oh those poor Mallards! ​

Yesterday afternoon here, i was outside digging up white onions and some carrots when suddenly there was a whooshing sound in the air. With my sparse hair standing up i looked to the sky and saw the Mallards diving down towards the pond in a Sarajevo-Approach, landing with loud splashes.

No clue why they did that, i haven't seen any bird of prey in the sky…

Safe on my pond they thought…

Wrong! - The ducknagers had seen them and lined up in a waddle and marched up the hill straight into the murky waters to quack them to deaf!!!
They love their Mallard friends so much that they wanted to stay another night with them on the floating island. Little did they know that there was rain overnight in the weather-forecast…
At first light the Mallards took off (with bleeding ears) and left their pesky ducknager friends behind. Cold, wet and feeling miserably, they all came back down to the house and huddled together at the steps of the patio.

At this rate when I get my civil engineering degree and build a bridge over the flood way ‍. We atleast have a week of sunshine here but still waiting on another peak from upstream.
