Sorry I did not know if you were a Daddy or Mommy to it. You can still get the mirror and stuffed animal if you do it soon and it will take a liking to it. If you want a house duck that will work out too I guess. It's just being a flock animal it will have adjusting to do and some people have great luck with doing that. I just happen to like mine outside as I have had my share of ducklings as old as 6 weeks in the house, lol.Too late! - I have already been adopted as a full time duck-momma!
I have offered food and water to the little one, but all it wants is too sleep under my left hand. Only the left hand, the right hand is evil and wants to eat it…

I’d be worried if it falls into that water container it may drown.
So we had a big storm here and dh is out with the guy that keeps cows here chain sawing trees and fixing fencing.
Its with hillbilly. No worries at all.
I agree, it doesn't take much for them to get water logged at this stage of the game.
So sorry for all of your bad weather in Texas, It is all over our news and I feel so sorry for the people in your state with all of that heat and the tornados on top of it. You are all in my prayers. I hope that the heat leaves and the winds stop.
Blue ducklings are the absolute cutest imo.
