How many do you have?

I have 4 Muscovy drakes, 8 Muscovy hens, 3 Khaki Campbell drakes, and 15 Khaki Campbell hens.
Only 30 total... Which is not that many, right?

I'm really hoping on getting Cayuga's and some more pekins... hopefully more mallards for my little girl.

How things change......

Lol, that they sure do. I stared this adventure with the intent of just having some quail for egg production. By the time I even got some quail, I had a feathered petting zoo.


What are your thoughts on the Speckled Sussex so far. That's a breed I've been pretty interested in. So far I love the Light Brahma, they are quickly climbing to the top for me. Jersey Giants are another one I'm interested in. There's just something about really big chickens that draws me to them.

Our BB Marans is pretty big, and I just adore him. Luckily he has a great attitude, as I would hate to have aggression issues from him.

Oh, oh ,oh! I got to see my first turkey strut! It's not the first time I've seen it, but it is the first time it's happened here. It was so cute. All fluffed up, about the size of a beach ball. I'm not going to lie oh, I got pretty excited set down and watch it.

I'm growing onto birds, I really want quail and eventually a peacock and peahen...maybe some pheasants

well after reading how many animals every one has I don't feel so bad people think I am crazy . I have 17 geese 16 chickens 2 ducks 3 barn cats 1 dog a parrot and a 50 lb sulcata tortoise. lol. they eat better then I do. oh I forgot 2 white quail haaaaa .

Not crazy at all! None of us are. At least that's what I keep telling myself lol.

It really is! I love seeing the baby ducklings but I love watching them grow even more!
