Hope all your babies are okay!
Yes, the babies are doing great. I actually had the Black Runner girl out for a bit of 1 on 1 time. I also had the Seramas on my shoulder for a couple of hours, the Silkies on my lap for about an hour, and got pooped on many times. I needed a bit of pick me up after today. Pictures to come soon. Of birds, not poop.

Sometimes I feel like this little girl gets left out. Once they started getting a bit bigger she was the first to sleep out of the pile up. When food and water are put out the Anconas bum rush it and she ends up walking around till she finds a spot. If she picks her head up for too long, a lot of times another duck pops it's head in "her" feeding/drinking hole. Poor girl kind of reminds me of an ugly duckling. She's got lots of spunk, just very submissive.

I'd like to bond with her a bit extra over the Ancona. I'm going to love them all the same, but Black Runners where my number 1 choice, and I only have this girl. I don't know if playing favorites is good, so I brought her inside, away from quacking eyes. (see the birds nest starting in my birds nest?)

At first she was not happy about, well anything.
"Cheep Cheep Swquak"
That's the sound of her voice cracking I think. Once we where on stable ground was relaxed. She ate peas from my hand and walked around the kitchen for a bit. My wife didn't know we where there though and opened the bedroom door, releasing the hounds. They're barley hounds, and we've been working on our training daily. They didn't react at all, but lil'miss went "CHEEP! CHEEP! SWQUAK!" again... It really sounds like puberty. Good size comparison below.
Dino on the left, Loki the right.

She calmed down again and nuzzled in for some curiosity time. I felt like she was reading my soul. She let me pet and inspect her though with no resistance.

I think it's pretty neat watching her feathers come in to. It's pretty easy to tell apart the different kinds of feathers. Without a break and color you can see the natural patterns. Now I just have to learn what they're all called.

I still need to give her a name. It's between Peko, Violet, or Shuǐ (Shu-eah)....

I brought out the most tame cockerel too. His brother is a bit of a butt head, and is likely getting offered as a pet. This fella though just seems nicer, I could be very wrong.
Is that his ear?

As long as he had something to sit or perch on he was content to just hang out. He's a bit fluffed because when I pulled out the camera, the dog stood up. Sorry, my pets are spoiled and know the camera. (well they thinks it's stuffed with treats)
