I thought I struck gold searching for their book on Amazon. I think it was only $25 for the large fowl and I was about to buy it, then I noticed it was a reprint of the 1915 standards.
I'm sure it would be neat just for the nostalgia of it, but not exactly what I was looking for.
So would you say the bantam book was worth the cost?
I had to learn the hard way to not wear a half way decent shirt in the mornings. I'm coming back in the house with poop on me somewhere. On the good days I find it before I leave the house too!![]()
Not sure how many of the breeds you are interested in raising are in the book, but let me take a look through it when I get home. I bought it with breeding OEGBs in mind. So many different beautiful varieties. But I ended up selling them off. The bantam cochin section has been wonderful help to me, and in general, I guess its a decent book. With your interest in genetics, its probably worth the price. I couldn't justify the huge price for the large fowl book. Of course, I could shoot a few pics for you, if there are certain things you'd like to see.

I think most folks use the kippenjungle calculators. He now has calculators for ducks, pigeons, quail, etc, etc.
