The Quack Shack

Actually I switched out the single combs on the first few generations for this comb just for that reason.

I got tired of losing combs and having maimed birds. These hold up real well in the cold.
That is a good lookin bird you have there!

yup. heavy winds and about 4" of rain.
Geees Bob that is a lot of rain. We only got about 1 inch but very unseasonably warm temps yesterday and today. Yesterday we got over 70 and today is just under 70 and sunny. Then the monsoon hits us and our temps start to get back to normal. Still not bad but I have a feeling we have some wintry stuff heading our way again in the next few weeks. That is according to the Farmer's Almanac. I am curious.

I have a lot of mud around here right now. We've had over 7" this month. More on the way. :th
Fall of 2018 we had flooding and sooooo much mud which is slick on an incline. That is exactly how I broke my arm in 2 places and had to spend months with a full arm cast. I hate the mud! :he

Then mix poop (poultry) into that mud and boy oh boy. We took our rain gauge in a few months ago after it thawed out so we don’t know how much rain we got but it was a bunch. I’m sorry Misty I didn’t know you broke your arm I bet that was painful.
