you’re thinking turkeys are a mistake, while you’re overrun with dux???
Might I suggest a few sessions of intensive counseling with Dr. Ralphie?

I have actually looked in to geese, but I think Patti is right on that one.Love to hear your traditions @007Sean , when a loved one passes away do you cut one side short all the way to the scalp, or just a few inches off one side?
Really beautiful.
@Trimurtisan it's only considered a mistake if you do it repeatedly...the turkey was just a learning experienceNow you can try your hand at some geese!!
Morning friends!! Waiting around to see if we're getting any winter precipitation or not...doesn't sound like it will be much, just a glaze of ice. And...to make things even more fun today, my 8 yr old son Cullin has been battling a cold for a couple days, and at about 5am he woke me up complaining of his earSo...we may have to make a trip to Urgent Care today for an ear infection. Always something when you have kiddos...
I think the turkey would have worked out better had we had more property for them to roam. That's actually my biggest problem with them is they like to roam. Thanksgiving day they where in my neighbors yard, on the next block over.I saw him the next day and he had made a meme. It was my turkeys and it said "Hun, grab my bird shot."That's crazy they roam so farI'm sure your neighbors thought you were just being nice and delivering their dinner for them!

It took about 6 months of constant ear aches and urgent care visits before he could get his tubes. It was a very frustrating time for us, but especially for him.Somehow my son got lucky to not get my ears....when I was a kid it was constant until I got tubes. But back then you didn't have to meet the crazy requirements for tubes and tonsils as they have now.
