Hi there Bob! Do I need to mention how many Phoenix pictures I've looked at this morning?
If anyone is curious, Phoenix do indeed only have 4 toes, but not these chicks. Really though, I've been looking for Dorkings. The Phoenix where just affordable and unique.

Ughhh, those things are amazing. It's been to long, I'll be doing Publix for lunch. I don't even eat fried chicken to speak of, but I'll have an intamate session with that sub anytime! Them Northies just don't know what they're missing.

I have a total of 50 I think. 5 being Roos. A mixture of different breeds. I have my laying hens my Breeding lens of Silkies, Seramas and Brahmas.

Just read the first page of this thread - the story of how you got your two ducks is similar to how I just ended up with two new pekins three days ago. A woman bought them and some chicks from TSC this spring and found that she really wasn't equipped to care for them. The manager at TSC texted me and asked if I would take them from her.

I talked to her and she said she had a male and female duck, and a male and female silkie. So I said I'd take them, even though I didn't need them at all, lol. Anyway, we meet up, and it's actually a mille fleur d'uccle hen and a red pyle OEGB rooster, and two female pekins.

Then she said she though the ducks were a male and a female because she had seen them mating with each other, so I got to explain about that. Lol.

Yesterday Dino decided to lay with Ollie. I think he knew something was not right. He had never done it before. Ollie wasn't confined to the crate the entire time, just at night. When I came in from doing chores yesterday, this is how I found them.

Yes you got it!! I'm attempted to do some undercover spying tomorrow night...that or me and hubs will get the urgent need to have dinner and a movie, at the same place! He would never forgive us!!

Those are some handsome young men you have there. He looks like a good kid. I used to catch my step-dad watching me from afar with binoculars when I first started driving and dating. It was so embarrassing. In hindsight it is hilarious parenting but I could not get away with squat.
