I could never own a hairless dog. It'd freeze up down here before my muscovies would.

Florida is probably the best place for hairless dogs. My dog suffers in the summer. He goes out to pee - quickly - in the shade - and then wants right back in. When he was a puppy and was potty training, I'd take him out and he'd look at me like "really, I HAVE to be out here to pee? Are you kidding me, lady?"

Yes they indeed are. The AHT is the only breed from the US. There are a few breeds that are hairless though. One of my favorites is the Mexican Xoloitzcuintli aka Xolo. Beautiful dogs. :love

There's also the Peruvian Inca Orchid which is another beautiful breed.

Those look better than hairless cats!!

but still wrong.. and I agree with Kendra...

they would be dogcicles up here.

You know how I hate to be contrary....

But

a hairless dog is just wrong.. I have never seen one.. but I have seen the hairless cats.. not a pretty sight...

I don't like the look of hairless cats, I prefer mine to be snuggly and fuzzy. But after 2 years of golden retriever tumbleweeds and accidentally eating dog hair, I can appreciate a hairless dog.

Labs are no better.. but retrievers and labs have such great personalities... I need to have them around....

If only they did not try to please people so much... we are convinced if a burglar showed up here and we were gone, they would show the burglars the gun safes, the combination and where I keep my best tools at..

Oh the pain!!
I thought we were best buds and all....

I thought of you and your dux on all your ice...

be careful... even young bodies forget to bounce and can break on ice..
:lau :lau :lau :lau :lau :lau :lau :lau :lau :lau :lau :lau Spare me the laughter. I've got ducks to attend to and if they find out I've been talking to a dux hater they might keep my roosters captive.

I've always been partial to the Chinese Crested.
