I actually don't own the cows. I'm just hosting and caring for them. The bull is a Brahma Charolais cross and the cows are mostly Brangus except for the Santa Gertrudis. This is a common arrangement in TX because of tax laws.

Actually they are a property tax break. If you use your land forv agriculture, you get a break on property taxes. So its very common to host others livestock if you don't want to have your own.
