July was pretty nice up until this week upper 80's, pretty hot for us in the mountains. And dry too.

We've been in the mid 90s with high humidity. We need a good rain to cool us down.

I really want to hatch a cassowari just for the sake of hatching cassowaries, I'm sure it's illigal anyway. BEsides being rare and I imagine a suicide mission to get the eggs, ... actually yeah thats enough to deterr me. But they are a really cool looking dinosaur bird!

They are super cool! I saw one in a zoo a couple years ago. Beautiful birds.

But I'd never keep them. They're known to be ornery, they have a 4 inch long dagger claw on each foot, and someone in Florida was killed by the one they owned a couple years back. So, no thanks!
