hey guys has any body heard about the competes act of 2022 lacey act amendment. will it evolve ducks and geese . i know it is evolving reptiles and i have tortoises. i saw it on the tortoise forum i am on. it has me worried.

This bill will unfortunately basically create a black list of animals, because only the animals on the 'white list' that's in the bill will be allowed to travel across state lines.
yes that is the one . you cant even transport eggs over the state line. it will include all animal except like dog and cats.
 
Ducks are farm animals so thats allowed from my understanding of what I read just then. Looks like its aimed to keep exotics out. How sneaky hiding it in such a large document though, that means they know it wouldn't pass if presented by itself. Currently we have animal rights trying to sneak in crazy rules that would mean no things like exhibition of animals, no catch and release fishing as it causes mental trauma on the fish. Heck we wouldn't even be able to shear sheep under the rules as it would appear to cause mental trauma
