what is a crawdad i know they dig holes and make little mounds then they put little tops on them. they are in my pasture i hate them.lol

same as crayfish they live in streams in the south Maybe all over the country too. Just some people call them crawdads instead of crayfish

Yabbies. But yes they are crayfish. Though ours don't build mounds they burrow in holes. The ones in Tasmania are as big as lobsters which is pretty cool. I want to catch one of those!

Good Morning/Evening Everyone.

Just an update on Missy my goose, she is doing so good. I just thank the Lord she has 2 precious admirers my 2 youngest Runner females have really taken a shine to her they come up to her and just babble away. It's really funny to watch and she sleeps in with them all at night. I never got to see how gentle she is with the other birds because Sam was her body guard and no one was allowed to eat or really get close to her . Even my Muscovy drake who hated Sam and her because she was a goose and was always with Sam was eating out of the same feed bowl with her [that was amazing] so sad as it is to lose Sam there are positive things that are coming from it.

good morning every one the temps have been a little warmer i am so glad. got my first goose egg yesterday for this year. i have a turkey hen sitting on eggs i will candle them in a few days. spring is almost here.
