That seems to be the way with the duck's feathers. Pinball Duck was a black duck with just a white bib and some white speckles in her face in 2019. Now she is mostly white with some black speckles. This is Dolly who thinks brooding on top of a bale of shaving is fun(no eggs) She use to be blue but over her 10 yrs she has just a smidge of blue left.View attachment 3259563
Remember the Wednesday meme? - That is Pinball Duck with her two drakelings.Same by as my blk Runners and blue Runner they are more white than blk now at 6.5 yrs old. We need a picture of Pinball duck![]()
If you pay for the shipping and vet costs, sure!Oh, and i cut that picture out of this video:
If anybody needs more drakes, just ask Pinball Duck. Her Drake to Duck ratio is five drakes to one duck (5:1). Anybody wants some drakes?
I'm thinking I might try some muscovies here. All the colors intrigue me, and it'll give me a chance to learn some new genetics.
Honestly, their genetics are fairly simple compared to some other duck colours. Yet another reason I am NOT getting into Calls!
I need to find more Muscovy breeders in Canada. >.> OR, move to the States. BF has been trying to get me to do that, but neither of us can afford to buy a parcel of land yet.I love all the Call geneticsIt's like a puzzle! It looks like scovies have a decent number of colors and patterns to learn, too.
Now to find some eggs or ducklings, lol. I'd be wanting some fun colors to play with. Might have to wait until next year to add them.
