Happy Saturday to Everybody!​

Today we started sunny and cold here, warmed up to ~15° (60F) then transitioned to windy, cloudy with temperatures plummeting down to below 10°(50F) within 30 minutes. Fortunately no rain or snow in sight.

We’ve got 3 mornings coming up with temps in lower teens yuck

Rain on snow is a bad combination! - Just ask somebody from California…

Yeah, it turns out it isn't great out here either. The combination of freeze-thaw=freeze cycles we've been having made a metal tray that was against the house cut into the power cord connected to my trailer. Then the rain shorted it out, flipping the breaker continuously until it blew sparks.

I had no power for over 24 hours until we finally figured out what was causing the short. And I lost four (possibly five, we'll see how the black kit does) baby bunnies.

Same here! - It looks like after Monday/Tuesday night we're done with Winter!

Maybe a light frost over night, but nothing severe anymore. So next week i will plant the potatoes. - First year without Katharina Duck.

So sorry to hear about the little ones.

Be really careful with the combination of electricity, underground cables and rain! I remember »locating« the underground cable that ran from my house to the duck-house…
