Yes my pastors flew away and never returned. Though they believe it flew back to its first home as one day one just showed up at breeders silos. We have tennis court so plenty of room but it is not covered. I am wondering if they are watch dogs like guinea fowl because that would be fabulous!
I have read before that they are great watchdogs. They will alert their owners if a stray animal comes around.

At the moment I don't have a car available (I will in a week or so) and the poultry vet is some distance away. I'll take some photos and email them, the vet lady has been very responsive in the past. We have some leftover liquid antibiotic from Junior's recovery adventure and I've ordered some sticky wrap and Vetericyn online.

It's unusual to me how the limping duck will sometimes limp strongly but at other times keep up with the group as though there are no problems, and climb into the pool with the limping foot first. The climbing part, in my opinion, suggests that we're not dealing with some joint or bone problems since pure physics would not allow it.

Also her general behavior has changed, and for the better - when this happened on Tuesday she was obviously feeling hurt and endangered, she spent most of the day hunkering down in the grass, hiding in the bushes, not coming to the water and food stations. That's why I decided to keep her in a crate for a couple of days so we see that's she's been eating and drinking. She has now been free-range again in the last 3 days and yesterday and today I can see her eating and drinking with the others.

So it's really not clear to me where all this leaves us. At the very least things are not getting obviously worse.
Based on your description i assume something is irritated. A sour muscle, a stretched tendon or ?
Sometimes it feels okay, but after a wrong move it starts to hurt again and the limp is back.
Rest, rest, rest and swimming.

What do I need to know about peacocks and chickens? Besides thefact that given the chance, peacocks will live at your neighbours
Welcome in the same boat! - Mr. PeaDuck is still around and i still have no clue about his needs, for example during the cold season. He enjoys a diet of cracked corn, cat-food, pellets and whatever else he finds outside and enjoys his stay.

Mr Peaduck is always keeping a watchful eye on the ducklings! - The four that grew up with the flock after being abandoned by their "mother" could always rely on Mr. Peaduck making sure that they would get their share of the treats before he ate and the let the grown-up's poke their bills into the bowl.
I read that with Peafowl both parents care for the young.

Finally! - Duckling #12 from the »Incubator-Gang« has joint its siblings in the duckling's paradise. That one gave us two days of hard work, it was very weak and sleeping most of the time. I had to literally drag it out of its egg and it had already used up all of the yolk. It pooped right before its butt left the egg, here it is on Friday evening:
