I still have a terrible diet. The duck eggs are the only thing I eat that are good for me! My diet consists of 99% sugar. My theory is You are What You Eat so I must be VERY SWEET!!!! LOL
 
Welcome in the same boat! - Mr. PeaDuck is still around and i still have no clue about his needs, for example during the cold season. He enjoys a diet of cracked corn, cat-food, pellets and whatever else he finds outside and enjoys his stay.
I have read that they can withstand temperatures in the winter down to as low as -14 degrees F. You should give them a place with hay to keep them warm but they should be able to spread their wings out. They eat a mixture of milet, corn, wheat and rice to keep them warm. Their enclosure should be kept clean so that harmful bacteria does not grow in it due to their waste.
