I still eat way to many carbs!
I love pasta, rice, bread and pizza.
But i have switched to brown-rice and i bake my own whole-wheat bread, just don't like to switch to whole-wheat pasta and pizza - yuck!!!
My healt has improved a lot since i moved from Texas to West-Virginia, i am forced to be much more active outside, regardless of the weather and than makes me burn more calories and loose weight. Drs. are happy with my blood samples, except when i have wolfed-down black-licorice by the pound and my triglycerides are always way too high. The doctors back in Germany thought that i am a mutant…
My Son was born in Germany. We lived in Oppenheim for 6 months back in 1971. It is a beautiful Country but not a good place to go deliver a baby. lol

Military Hospital at Bad Kreuznauff, no antithesiologist, he weighed 9 pounds 11 ounces and was supposed to be a C-section but could not be due to the circumstances. Born with a fractured clavical but we both survived.
Well, »military hospital« says it all. They have specialized on injuries not child births.
Should have told them »there was an explosion on the base and i was hit with a baby that got stuck in my belly and needs to be cut out.« -> c-section immediately. 😉
