How long will it stay on and how could you tell it was a drake already? The size of it?

That is a drake: First the sideburns (see: https://www.backyardchickens.com/threads/the-quack-shack.1312910/post-27085839), then the typical drake-bill and he is still not peeping. Drake!

@Magnolia Ducks - you were correct, vet-wrap (or equivalent) is way too complicated:

I cut off the foot part of one of my socks and use the leg-part as a pullover.
It was a very worn out sock, i don't have giant feet!
And yes, that sock was clean!

Ok. I had a dragon duck .my last WH decided shed be broody its been years since I had a broody. The last one I broke by taking her eggs. This time I lost skin got spit on and actually bled but last night some thing ate all her eggs I think snake poor snake .

We have a snake hiding in our coop I laid 3 duck eggs up on the shelf where I keep food and water in winter for the chickens and when I went in yesterday evening 2 were gone. AND the coop is kept closed during the day to keep snakes out. So this snake is living in the coop somewhere we have 2 lofts we will be checking out tomorrow.

Well, I placed 2 duck eggs on the shelf this morning just went in to get them and one has been taken. So either we have 2 snakes inside the coop or one which is very much a pig. I just looked up how long it takes a snake to digest a meal and it was def longer than 1 day.

I hope that your snake problem is gone hopefully and so glad that your ducklings are as big as they are now. If it wasn't for liking them I have heard of people putting fake eggs in and that I think must do them in. If they are not eating mice or rats but only duck eggs I could see why someone might do that.

I have tried everything short of duck-tape, a stapler and a nailgun, but my two little drakes have managed to get rid of every kind of wrap i tried out. I may call them »Houdini« and »El Chapo« in the future, but right now they do need help!
Their feathers have started to grow outwards so bad, they urgently need to be wrapped.
Somehow...
I need some ideas beyond pantyhose-leg, sock, vet-wrap, sock with leg-holes @Magnolia Ducks @shawluvsbirds @everybody

The only thing I could think of which is probably crazy would be to super glue that one feather sticking out to the feathers that are not. That probably would not work but I don't know what in the world else you could do if you have tried everything else.
