Ok. I had a dragon duck .my last WH decided shed be broody its been years since I had a broody. The last one I broke by taking her eggs. This time I lost skin got spit on and actually bled but last night some thing ate all her eggs I think snake poor snake .
That poor duck! - Duck that snake! How dare stealing those precious little babies!
Seems to be snake season:
Yesterday (Saturday) late afternoon a group of my ducks assembled in front of my garage door, chattering loudly. Turned out there was a thin black snake crossing the driveway in front of my garage, trying to find shelter in the retaining wall. Everybody was excited and scared and discussing with each other, like politicians.
'Round the corner came Blanca Duck, saw the snake, ran towards it, grabbed its head, smacked it against the wall and ate it whole. That snake was about a meter (3') long… That's how decisions are made! I encourage her to run for president!

My one little Call Duck has his sticking out on one side badly and I just have to clip it since he came that way to me. It still sticks out about two inches but if I don't cut the feathers it is more like about 5 inches. It doesn't bother him to have it stick out and I honestly did think of super gluing it but didn't know if that would work or not. As long as he is not in any pain I don't like the way it looks but he is ok with it so I am too.

We have a snake hiding in our coop I laid 3 duck eggs up on the shelf where I keep food and water in winter for the chickens and when I went in yesterday evening 2 were gone. AND the coop is kept closed during the day to keep snakes out. So this snake is living in the coop somewhere we have 2 lofts we will be checking out tomorrow.

Well, I placed 2 duck eggs on the shelf this morning just went in to get them and one has been taken. So either we have 2 snakes inside the coop or one which is very much a pig. I just looked up how long it takes a snake to digest a meal and it was def longer than 1 day.
The only animals, larger than a big spider, allowed in my duck house are the ducks and Mr. PeaDuck. Everything else will either be evicted (by me) or eaten by the ducks. And for the insect population: During the next duck-house cleanup (long overdue, due to broody ducks!) there will be a heavy permethrin application. The fly population is out of control...

The only thing I could think of which is probably crazy would be to super glue that one feather sticking out to the feathers that are not. That probably would not work but I don't know what in the world else you could do if you have tried everything else.
Problem is that all of their flight feathers are pointing into the wrong direction. There's nothing to attach the feathers to other than the duck's body. And SG would not stick to a duck at all, remember they have an oil-gland. - And these two guys make good use of that... they already smell like a typical drake.

I use medical tape.

Tried medical tape on Harry Duckhini, it lasted for less than five minutes. Even with my special "behind the legs", "in front of the legs" followed by two times "between the legs" twice didn't help. He just rolled it up into a thick band, rolled that down and stepped out. 🤯

After watching this video and reading a bit more, i don't think these two guys have Angel-Wing at all, they have the Ralphie Dux gene! - Ralphie, my Black Swedish drake has some of the flight feathers of his left wing growing into the wrong direction. I caught that too late last year and it could not be corrected.
I am pretty sure that Ralphie fathered most of the Incubator Gang, so he is very likely their dad…
Angel wing is when the wing is drooping due to the weight of the flight feathers, bercause the muscle development is lacking behind the feather growth. Both drakes have their wings not drooping at all, just the feathers are growing in the wrong direction, like here with Harry:

Right side is just fine, feathers on the left side are growing outwards.
