So, that is going to be complicated:

Sadly the little duckling that i rescued on Monday fell asleep forever yesterday evening. 😢 It snuggled into my hand, fell asleep and peacefully passed away. Just before its little heart stopped, it opened its eyes, looked at me and was gone. Here is one of the last pictures:

It really looks peaceful...
Awww, I'm sorry Frank. This little one only knew love from the moment you rescued it. It died warm and safe, instead of cold and alone.

Glad to hear the other eggs are doing well, and that one more handful of fluff is there to help fill the void of those that were lost.

No clue what is going on here!
Is there something like a 36 hour duckling disease?
The duckling, that hatched on Monday evening just slipped away a moment ago!
It slept on my chest the whole night, it drank and ate a bit, then fell asleep and died in its sleep. One moment it was breathing and chirping, next moment it was dead.
No cramping, no fighting, just as if a candle was blown out.

I never count my ducklings until they're at least a month old. Especially in the first week, so much can happen.

Is there a possibility that there's some sort of contaminant in their food or water? Short of non-visible that's the only thing I can think of. Or perhaps it's like SIDS in babies...

Do you have a limit as to how many Ducks you are going to have or is the sky the limit, lol. They are just so precious!!!!
In theory, the only limiting factor would be 16 hectares (40 acres) of land... 🤣

The duck's house was designed to provide shelter for 50 ducks, but that was without factoring in that many of the ducks now use the "shelf", that was once used to store the rest of the straw-bale in use, as their sleeping quarter. And some ducks prefer to sleep outside in the duck-run, so i'm not worried about 60 ducks in that place over night.

Another problem will be the supper-bowl: I am using a rectangular planter to serve dinner and it is already too small for the flock without the Incubator Gang. Once they join, i need something larger... already looking in the stores...

You can make feeders with eavestroughing. Cheaper than buying premade ones.

I lost my two babies last night to a predator during a bad storm. One completely disappeared and the other one had only the head not touched and the feet with everything else skinned or eaten. I am heartbroken over it and figure it must have been a coon. They were three weeks old and Runner Ducks. I will try to get hubby to help me set a trap to see if we can catch it before I lost anything else. This is my first predator attack in the three years I have had them so I have been fortunate before this. I am heartbroken as I have never had to deal with this before.

So sorry to hear this Frank. After losing my two this morning I do know how you feel. Mine just made it to three weeks before something got them last night during a bad storm. Had to of been a coon. Is the food you are giving them alright? I am sure that it is but it has to be something you would think along that line for both of them to die just like that. Sometimes food can get moldy and it is hard to tell.
