The most I ever had in my living room was three and trust me, that was enough duck poop for me. lol
I have 4 in my living room [stinky] and I am nuts about cleaning.

No way I could have ducks without a hose and water.🤢
Just can't drag it into the house.

The video is only 26 seconds long...
OmaGott - i attached the wrong link to my post! I shouldn't write importatnt stuff in the morning. Here is the new video with Laura Duck and Boots and Sandals and…
Again, one minute in, the gentle giant walks in. Just kidding, Boots is not gentle. 😖

It just happened that twelve out of the eighteen eggs hatched that i kept in the CCI.
And it wasn't that bad, we had set aside a place in the living room with tarps and there were boot-mats on the floor that i took out every morning and hosed down.
The poop-smell was never an issue, but the typical duck-smell was overwhelming when the gang walked inside in the evening.

Worrying news from Big Chimney:
Milka Duck disappeared on Sunday afternoon. Yesterday evening i got a text from my neighbor with a blurry picture of a duck in their driveway but we couldn't find it.
Today same neighbor reported that her dog and her cat were attacked and that the duck is sitting under her car.
Turned out to be missing Milka Duck with a terrible wound at her neck, a smelly wound…
I have cleaned it out as best as possible and sprayed Wound-Kote (that nasty purple stuff) on it. Milka is drinking sugar water and has just pooped. Not eating cat-food and meal-worms.
And right now somebody on an ATV is searching for two young dogs that have disappeared from a fenced-in garden… 😧

Wild story and speculation:
I saw the neighbors dog early Sunday afternoon on my property - all ducks went into the pond and when i came outside the dog ran away without anything in its mouth.
Then later there was a big commotion outside, the ducks were yelling »intruder« and »duck-murder« out of the top of their lungs but there was nothing to be seen.
An hour later i received some disturbing pictures from another neighbor who had just driven by the neighbor who owns that dog. In the pictures you can see the dog carrying a duck, so we thought the dog somehow got the duck. We could not find any duck on the neighbors property, so w thought the dog either ate the duck or the duck is somewhere in the woods. That neighbor was devastated that her dog had escaped and would do something like this.
Comes Monday and that neighbor asked me if i had attacked her dog and her cat then said no, it wasn't you these are bite-marks. She rushed to the vet with cat and dog to have the wounds treated and when she came back in the evening she saw a duck in her driveway. I rushed over but the duck was gone into hiding.
Then today morning she texted me that the duck is sitting under her car - where i recovered Milka Duck.
So speculation is that on Sunday a coyote dragged Milka down to the neighbors property, where she managed to escape because the dog attacked the coyote. Then on Tuesday the coyote came back with reinforcement and injured the dog and the cat while Milka was hiding under the car.

Anyways, Milka is doing better, she has drunken a lot of sugarwater stood up in her cardboard box and shows interest in food…
