So sorry to hear this Frank. They did the same thing at my Dad's company years ago. They would wait until a person was close to retiring and then they would let them go. He took early retirement at age 62 and then passed away 6 months later. My Mom got a tiny check for a few years and then they kept the rest he had paid in. He was a pressman and worked for them for over 40 years. Some companies just plain stink!!!!Thank you very much!
Yes, they are offering a package, but refuse to acknowledge the time i have worked for their subsidiary in Germany…
And no, it has nothing to do with any disaster, its a fortune 500 company.
This is so sad and sickening my Dear. I am praying for you every day and for the other people affected in your state. This is so sad to watch and I wish I could help in some way. Rumor has it that FEMA is not allowing people to come and deliver goods to the victims but my coworkers husband is not allowing that to stop him. He got lots of donations from my work and is still bringing it to try to help people in need. My heart breaks for everyone without power. Hopefully the stores will get restocked soon and the power will be restored.
Yes I am sure and this weekend I let them join the rest of the flock. Everyone is getting along fine after I let my 7 year old babysit them while I finished up working on their pens this weekend. They were all out in the grassy area and he gave the ones that thought about pecking on the littles heck. It worked out well as he sat with them for quite a while enjoying being a boss for once instead of being bossed, lol. They all have a several pens now that are regular poultry pens and lots of places they can get away from each other so it is working out well. I pray that your situation gets better soon Frank. You sure that all keys for that lock at the door are accounted for?
Sunny Sunshine and her family still sleep on my patio and this night i heart a lot of quacks and rasps, interrupted by a thudd…
When i looked outside, they had managed to fly up to the table and pried the lid off the cat-food container.
So many places need goods though because so many places are out of them, that is why we took up a large collection at work and our coworker's husband shopped for most needed items and is taking a truck load down.Something I heard, and agree with, if you want to help those affected by the hurricane, the best thing to do is not to donate items but to donate money. Like that, they can purchase what is needed and have it brought in.
What this is saying is exactly what we have been being told. This is so sad that FEMA is interfering with the efforts of people trying to help. I pray that our goods we are sending get through to those in need. I miss you Miss Lydia.Hey I got on again a friend sent this to me
I just got a text message from Miss Lydia and she told me to tell everyone she said Hi. She does not have internet right now but her phone was working. She said the lady from the power company told her they have no idea when the power would be back on and to buy a generator. She has one thank heavens but with no end in sight this has got to be hard on them. Prayers for her are needed. She's such a good friend to so many. This is so sad and sickening my Dear. I’m so sorry this is happening. I went through this right as Covid hit, although it wasn’t Covid related. Good luck finding new employment!Thank you very much!
