Wyandottes?

I've been thinking of adding Wyandottes to my breeding program. I'd love to know your thoughts on this breed - personality, egg production, broodiness etc.

I like the ones I have had. Seem to be good layers, personality good. I never had any go broody other then my Bantam wyandottes.

Good to hear. I'm deciding between Wyandottes and another colour of Orpington (probably lavender). I adore my Orpingtons, but want to branch out a bit into other breeds as well.

I have two silvers and two golds. The silvers are much friendlier than the the stand off goldens. None are laying quite yet so I can't speak for that.

I have one Silver Laced Wyandotte and she is very friendly. She is usually the first to greet me at the gate when I go to change their water each day.
