Using hardware cloth for the floor of your coop is a bad idea for many reasons, but first and foremost, for the safety of your chickens feet, I'd put something over that.

You added some info I think as I see now you did have ventilation put in, and there's a decent explanation of how you built it.

This is a gorgeous coop!

It would be great if you could add some instructions on how you built it and what you used.

Unfinished build of something. If ever finishing this, the spelling/grammar needs touching up.

This is really good. As someone mentioned, a materials list would be helpful. $1,100 to build it is good to know, but there may be ways folks could save.

What may also be helpful for someone is if you could put an intro explaining a few things, then put a timestamp list of the highlights and what time they were.

Like for example: 5:05 explain this point.

Very nice coop and run. Looks like that was a bit of work doing it on a hill.

If more explanation and measurements were added it would be more helpful to build one on our own.

This is actually similar to the hutches we build for temporary or growout pens. Great idea and bet it works nice until you get more chickens. 😊

Nice coop!

We'd love to see the inside though. A bit more explanation on building this would be helpful too.

Neat idea.

No directions for how to build it though, and that would be helpful, as well as a photo of the finished product.

A great way to show how an old shed can become a chicken coop.

Some explanation of how you did it and what the inside looks like would be helpful to know.

It looks like was a great way to beef up a prefab but needs explanation as to how it was done.

Nice job! Very thorough. Love all the pictures and explanations.

Measurements throughout would help, as well as a photo of the inside and outside once finished.

Very nice!

You said you got this idea from other BYC'ers, so it would have been nice to see how you built yours and what did you change to improve yours over theirs?

It seems nice but some explanation of how it was built would be helpful. It's also a great example of repurposing things. A few more pictures would help us get a better idea of what you did and what it is in the end.

It looks neat but there's no information on how you built it. If someone else likes this and wanted to build it, it would help to have a blue print or plan and some explanation of what you bought and how you built it.

This is indeed a beautiful coop! Nice job!

How you built it, though, would be so helpful. I personally would love to see a few lines about how you made your pulley door.

This 4x4 coop with small run is for at most 4 chickens, and it was built to house six. A good lesson to make sure you know how big to build a coop before you start.

Could use some more information about how to build this.
