We have totally different approaches for meat birds, but that said, I really liked your design and approach. You gave enough detail that anyone should be able to follow your design and build and the photo's were great as well. I raise out my meat birds in 8X8X2 shelters for the 35 days they are on pasture and move them every day or sometimes twice a day. I'd love to see your brooder setup, that really sounded interesting as I'm getting ready to build one soon.
Nicely done and full of detail. Links are no longer functional, but one can get the general info from the narrative and pictures. and love the pics of the occupants.
I really liked your design and how you leveraged that storage container. Additionally, I liked how you chronicled the build along with photos. I also enjoyed your chicken story.
Very nicely done. You told me where to find the design and then provided a step by step narrative with photos to follow along. You've done a great job on the coop and with this article.
I really enjoyed this article. The way you chronicled it with photos was very good and easy to follow. Additionally, it was entertaining and contained more than how to build a coop. This was and is a journey that I truly enjoyed.
I really liked your approach. The only thing that could have made it better would have been more pictures in the detailed instructions to help make them clearer.
Very nicely done, and I like the way you integrated the narrative with the pictures. I too will recommend more ventilation (you want about 1 sq ft per bird). Can't wait to see the finished project and how you got there.
I loved the pictures and the mobile concept you came up with, but more detail would make it a lot better. I would love to see pics and maybe even drawings of the components you built and then assembled.
The article lacks some detail, but the pictures make up for it. I would love more dimensional information. All-in-all a very versatile tractor. Just one side note: I built my first generation of tractors with chicken wire and hot wires. My second generation will have hardware cloth and the lids will have 2x4 welded wire under the hardware cloth after the coons busted in and took my birds.
I loved the woodwork and design. The pictures were a little difficult to navigate and more detail on joinery would have really been nice. I may have missed it, but do you have a way to block off the nest boxes at night?
