    Is it true about hatching eggs....

    I had an old friend tell me that if an egg is more pointed on the pointed end it is a rooster. If the end isnt so pointed, more rounded, its a hen. Any truth to this?

    They Are sleeping outside!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Forgive my spelling, but I think this is what I received from Mcmurrey hatchery as a "bonus" when I ordered my 25 cornish x. The bird is black with a shimmer of green in the end of her feathers and looks like her breast has a few tan feathers. Any ideas?

    oops did I make a mistake?

    I have 11 eggs that I bought off ebay. I put them in the incubator big side down and they have been that way for 10 days. I read on a post yesterday that they should be big side up, so I changed them around and am wondering if I made a mistake.
