My 2 year old goose (who was fine yesterday) is practically lifeless and vomiting his food up. Ive never seen it before. My chickens and ducks are in good health but my other 3 geese are looking a little mopey, not sure why, but no signs of vomiting in them yet. Theyre being feed on scraps and a...

I was under the impression chickens got colds then got CRD, Mycoplasma, Coryza, whatever. Can they JUST get a cold or does it always turn into a secondary bacterial infection. Also does anything like citricidal, garlic etc work in preventing illness or help cure it?
I've noticed my big blue orp roo thunder is not well, he seems to be going down hill. He doesn't have nasal discharge or sneezing but his eyes look a bit swollen, his left eye has all this white goo (not foamy, its thick goo) in it, i bathed it and got it all cleaned up last night but it's back...

I have chickens and ducks, incubated, hatched, reared, raised and lost, would like to branch out and try geese. My DH says they are nasty and will bite my kids!!!! is this true? How difficult are they to care for? I have a quarter acre of land on which all my little guys roam, the geese would do...
My flock is currently experiencing Mycoplasma. We've been to the vet and he's given us Tylan soluble. My chooks have been on it for 3 days today, thats supposed to be how long i should administer the antibiotics for (half teaspoon to 2 litres of water, fresh everyday for 3 days). I just wondered...
I have in my breeding pen currently, 1 white roo, 1 buff hen, 1 white hen, 1 blue hen and 1 black hen, all show quality. These are the only breeding birds i have at the moment (my big challenge this year to expand and breed). I'm interested to know what colours i'm likely to get out of each mix...
Welcome y'all to my big Orpington challenge!! I am totally in love with this large, friendly, docile breed of bird and my ultimate dream is to keep and breed every possible colour, maybe even create a few new ones. I totally get that this is a long, drawn out, most probably difficult process but...
Heres my little beauty, Approx a week old, can anyone give me and idea of what sort of colour it will turn out like, bred from buff cross black orp. Also can anyone guess the gender? i know its a long shot!!
This hen was supposed to be a RIR i bought as day old along with one other, the other has signature black tail tips but this hen looks more like a warren or a ranger or something, what do you guys think?
here is goliath:
And here is Jersey:
They were eggs i incubated purchased from a breeder claiming to be pure, i know there not fast growers and i think the feet look a bit yellowish, they approx 9 months.
Ok so i cross bred my black orp roo with my buff orp hen (roo has tinge of gold in colllar, unsure why as he was bred from black x black pure). i hatched 5 out last week, i got 2 black, 1 buff, 1 buff with black stripe on back and 1 black/grey with buff face?!?!? what the?!?!
My gorgeous most treasured black orp hen has just had a crash landing with a gate taken off its hinges! i came out back to find her laying squished underneath it!, i removed said gate and she jumped up in a flash however, her right leg appears to be injured, there are no external wounds, the leg...
