    Since we had to re-home our rooster (apparently he's happy as a clam & they are going to breed him) our hen has been very noisy. I am wondering if she is lonely? I am getting an orp from tnchicken in a few wks but if anybody close to Knox has a laying hen that needs a new home let me know!

    Ah! My luck. Mr library is glad he was right :p I'll be in co during the picnic but maybe we can meet 1/2 way somewhere before then? I did want a hen close to laying or already laying.... Preferably a colored egg layer :)

    no egg again today...? looks like they are eating/pooping normal. stang-my dad uses those for his hunting dogs & I am def not opposed to trying to train my dog w it. I have even tried giving him his own treats & he still is more interested in what they get (even tho he wouldn't eat it anyway)!
