Has anyone ever used this incubator before??

https://www.amazon.com/your-orders/...ryId=&returnUnitIndices=&shipmentId=DlBTcKNXH

I know it says 9-12 eggs but on the day we added them I found one more that looked very promising so I added it. Realistically I don’t think that many of them will make it because they’re anywhere from 3 weeks old to brand new so there will be plenty of space when I get that figured out

I came home and somehow #10 had cracked. My incubator has an auto turn and I want to turn the eggs manually and I can’t figure out how to shut it off or take it off. I took a photo of the egg because I wanted to see what was inside. I see one red line. Was that a vein forming :(

sorry about the egg. Yeah likely was forming. No, you can hand turn from side. Should be fine. good luck!

:( that makes me so sad. i already feel like my chances of getting any ducklings are so slim. i don't trust the turning tray on this incubator and if anyone has this version something happened and it cracked my little egg :( i made the executive decision to remove the tray and lay them on their sides. before that they were standing though so i just wanted to be sure they weren't forming one way and would be confused if i moved their position.

When I removed the tray my internal thermometer dropped to 97 from 99 degrees. I think because the position changed and it’s laying more flat now (more room without the tray) so I’m not sure if I should increase the temp on the incubator or leave it as it side I think the temp has been the same the entire time and I see lots of progress in the eggs. What are your opinions on 97? I ordered another thermomiter it’ll be delivered tomorrow just to get another read on the temp

I would say give it atleast 4 hours to see what the temp does. 97 for 12 hours or less isn't likely to do major harm. Bring the temp up if it doesn't go back up on it's own.

it's been like that since i had to take the tray out last night when i discovered the broken egg. its weird only because the incubator has been set to the same temp the whole time but the thermometer inside got two degrees cooler when i changed position. my incubator is in celsius which stinks but if i raise it one degree do you think that would work?
