Ok so I put the eggs in last Tuesday (5/8) so it’s been 4 full days. I’m keeping a log and I’ve numbered the eggs. I see so much action in #13 (I have 13 total) but I’m gonna add photos of a few more to see what you guys think about the progress or if they’re fertilized because they all look different right now

First two are #13 then there’s #12 and I think # 6. The last ones are #1 and #2 I think and I wanted to show the difference between the development. What do you guys think?? I’m praying at least two hatch

Definite development in the first two shown. Possible on the 3td n 4th shown...i see nothing on the last...im not an expert, just throwing my 2 ¢ in lol
Plus its only day 4, so theres plenty of time for progress

Thank you so much! I don’t expect them all to hatch because I know some are older but when my mama duck got taken from me I went into incubator mode and just took all the eggs I was letting her keep in her hutch and hoped for a miracle. I didn’t even think any would be fertilized!

Yep I don't candle till day 7 or 8 so for this early that looks great

I can’t wait to see them on that day. I’m not sure when they’re more in the “safe zone” and they won’t be “early quitters” (I read about lots of things that can go wrong) do you have any idea how far along they have to be to increase their likelihood for successful hatch??

Well some modt certaintly are!!
U will soon have 2nd generation birds and thats a terrific feeling especially since mama was lost...my condolences bte

I’m hoping so much. Any tips or tricks you have are all greatly appreciated. I’ll be posting the entire time to try to get some advice because I never ever planned on hatching and I’ve never done it before I’m just researching like crazy
