Yep, Isla doesn’t like me… Roddy was worse… they do run essentially free and are IMO more than half feralSuch beauty though.
But giving them a scratch is not worth getting butted for , be careful
Stay safe and keep the critters good as wellMust go batten down the hatches, under another severe thunderstorm warning again

I had 2 buff orpingtons (actually 3, the 'golden girls', but 2 were besties). One would roost on the roost at night, and margaret - one of the others, would put her head between golden girl#1's feet. They would sleep like that every night! When they dust bathed, Margaret would always be crowding Goldie #1, almost snuggling, and she would practically (but not quite) lay on top of her when they were sunbathing! The two were inseparable, and Margaret was the more needy/dependent one - almost like the Bobsie twins...where one was, the other was sure to be. I wouldn't say it is 'usual' for them to be so 'tight'/bonded, but it isn't completely 'unusual' either! (Remember, I'm a mathematician, so I am using statistical definitions of 'usual/unusual')Don't know why, but when they decide to worship the sun, Storm burrows her head into Ash's fluff. I've not every seen that before. It's that common?
