Hoping Gucci got a bit more trimming so she can see better...and that you were right that a big part of her issue was feathers blocking her sight.

And Bella, beautiful Bella...I'm hoping you are eating reasonably well again, and that your crop on down is moving like it should. (Just think, if you get the system 'moving' like it should, it means you can 'deposit' a commemorative right on your mom as she feeds you...tell her it wasn't YOUR fault...she was the one forcing food in, which forced 'other stuff' out!)

How on earth does wee little Marty get up in that window well?!! This is the second time I have caught her up there!

I better get out there and get her down, she is way too small and can't fly worth , she face plants really well though!!!! I do not want her to get hurt!!

We are ok as of right now. Backwater from the river has one way out of my holler closed. If we get the rain forecasted tonight, we could have trouble. My area is affected the most when the backwater rises and a storm comes. I'm very worried about power outages, there is mudslides and tree's down. If I disappear for a few days it is most likely due to that.

We'll keep you in our thoughts and prayers.

Hoping for huge pooping tonight. I mean really, I want to wake up to a massive clean up challenge!


There was a tiny deposit this afternoon with a few undigested kernels of corn. But really tiny.
I managed to get a tube feed in with formula and probiotics added in the hope it will help get stuff moving. I smelled her breath and so far it is not over-run with yeast.
She has real difficulty walking - there is a risk that she actually has something really wrong with her leg, but my observation is that it is just weakness because she can stand if it is in order to go after corn kernels.
So I am starting physical therapy by giving her corn at a small distance so she has to stand up and walk (or at least lurch) to get it. Maybe the movement will help her guts to work too. I am still massaging her crop which she seems to like. She also seems to like being gently stroked on her beard.
