That is very kind of you. In my subdivision it is not unheard of for one of use to borrow something from another. If we get asked, and we have it we give it. Same with everyone else. If I'm in a pinch and need something and borrow it from my neighbors it is returned as the soonest opportunity. If it is used when I am baking, which is when halfway through mixing my ingredients I realize I am out of something and one of my neighbors has some to spare, I make sure to share the finished product as well. To me that is just being a good neighbor. Now if you borrow something and never return and keep wanting to borrow something else, there will come a time when I tell you no.
I didn’t have any butter in my refrigerator. So I went to the store for her and bought her some. I’m always sharing eggs with her too. She’s very old, crippled and has no family close. I do what my conscience tells me to do. That’s about it!

And one day, if I am a very good girl, I will have a clean-legged Marans lady in my flock.
Rebecca and I disagree on the subject of feathered feet but not on the stunning beauty of the breed!
I agree. Stunning.

This is what I’m talking about. My neighbor lady called and said she needs some butter for a peach cobbler. I took my car and bought her some. I’m okay with that, but I don’t think that I will ever change (being a nice guy) :he
Is she giving you some of that cobbler??? If not then o wouldn’t send her any again!
