Has anyone ever heard of any chickens getting it?

I gave him my fried rice from the other day. He ate a little, then I took him out to the ladies. He eats, but not as much as I think he should. But every morning, he’s alive and crowing. Can you bring him inside and give some mash? Maybe some scrambled eggs?
My chickens get bit by those nasties at night. And I can tell by the spots on their combs.Preaching to the choir they are soooo horrible here! The rains keep them going, and I keep worrying about West Nile.

Not a chicken in the world like Hattie! She’s beautifulI see what you mean! My chickens look nothing like Hattie!
Sadly you did. Love them for who they are despite what you ordered.I agree! They do. As they grow and feather out that is exactly what they look like!
I thought I was a little senile for a minute.
I don’t really mind, because I love them and I think they are beautiful, and they are fun birds, great personality, so it was kind of fortuitous, BUT they were 25 dollars a chick because they were “lavender orpingtons”.
I think I got fleeced!
Siri takes offense and wants to know who you are calling beige. She prefers her color to be called gold thank you very much.Hattie!
I would put it differently: Buff Orpingtons look like Hattie only beige.
