Glynda makes me think of a small magical swan !

Glynda is not a leghorn so she should not wind up looking like my Daisy, The Greatest Hen Ever. She just reminds me so much of Daisy that my heart is full every time I watch her.

She is a very beautiful young lady. I love her look.

I don’t like it when people let me down. I have been waiting for a part for the SkyHawk, but the person that ordered it said “I’m very sorry, I thought I placed the order with the manufacturer, but I have no record of it. I will place the order again today. I sincerely apologize for the confusion “
Okay maybe an oversight, but I need that part!! (It’s an engine trim sensor And very important) but what’s not important on an aircraft?!

I imagine every part on a plane is critical. Mistakes happen but it can be frustrating.

Sorry they were so upset.
Do you have an assessment of which model was most stress?
I mean compared to chasing them around to try and get them in.

I'm not sure , but the chase lasted only 45 mn and was won by team chicken, whereas today they were locked up long hours.
I'll be keeping up my plan to get them used to it. I realized today that it's not being locked up that scares them as much as the other chickens, so I think that's the main aspect we'll have to focus on.

In the end they are all safe and alive. That was a good outcome for them even if they do not realize it. You did right by them. Much like with children, sometimes you have to make them upset while doing what is right for them.

I know it is hard but you did right by them.

We shouldn't have let them not meddle for so long, it would have made things easier, but we'll work on that from now.

I'm sorry I made the confusion between a precious magical swan and the most common layer breed in the world but I'm sure you'll forgive me since Daisy the leghorn was the Greatest Hen Ever!

I know very little about chicken breeds. I just looked up Frost Legbars and they do seem.to have more slender types than the leghorns I see here, but American leghorns are different I believe.

@Marie2020 You will be happy to hear everyone (including Inky) was out free ranging while Ginger was grounded (since she hunted Inky as soon as she's out, she's fast when she wants to be).

Later, Inky insisted to go inside the house to lay her egg while Light was inside the house laying her egg... They had a bokbokbok competition and Light left the house. Sometimes Light would go back to the usual nest box, but this time, 10 minutes later Light went back to the deck door. Fortunately Inky was done with her business so she left the house.

Light was happy to be inside in her favorite nesting spot, but was pissed that Inky "destroyed" her nest (Inky makes really nice deep nest) .

Very quickly Light laid a very nice egg!

I have no chicken pictures right now and will post my lotus flower.

Maggie got her final dose of antibiotics - a 5 day course. I am happy not to have to dose her any more. Now we just have to hope for the best.
Lulu has now laid three tiny eggs. I think she is taking a day off today which makes me happy. Bernadette sang for Lulu each day, and yesterday Lulu sang too. Not exactly harmony but cute.
Diana stopped by for a chat. I do think she is a lovely looking lady. I know, I am biased. She is also monumentally greedy and she was not happy that Maggie got a private raisin delivery.
