Wonder why they are cranky? My gals were like that the other day…

Did I ever tell you how Chiquita got her name? The first night I brought her home mom was offering her treats of dried fruit mix. She ignored everything but the banana chips which she devoured. Banana's are still her favorite treat and since she was a yellow silkie who loves banana's she named her Chiquita.

All of mine love bananas too....the musher the better.

Ok, my feet hurt my neck hurts my back hurts. Had a rough day. First found out at the eye dr that the insurance doesnt kick in until the 18th. Then I go to the dollar store get a bunch of stuff, and my card doesnt work. Call the bank in the parking lot to find a fraudulent charge blocked and so is my card. They closed out my card and I had to go to the bank to get a new one. Grabbed something from the walmart deli to eat. Finally get home 2 hours later.--end vent

In mine...probably nothing, but keep eye on it. In yours....keep an eye on it, more observation needed. Could go either way.

Aurora already dominates Hattie. They are 1 and 2 and have fought viciously before.

Looks like happy accident to me. Why is Hattie in jail? Is she being picked on?

I left the crate open after taking Gucci to the vet. Hattie went in on her own and lay down. A little later, Aurora was on top of the crate.

Hard to tell, my kiddos jump up on anything new or interesting - will she do it when no one is in the crate?

All chickens on this photo are OK. Sydney is enduring a tough molt but is doing fine.

My little chicks are ready to be out in the coop. It drops to the high 40's and low 50's should I put heat out there too?

Maybe in a corner and keep an eye on them to see if they're huddling up there. If they are, then expand, if not, then turn off

What a rough day! Hope you feel better - banish the aches and pains! Hope no fraudulent charges actually hit your account...check your statements carefully!
