I went out to check on the girls and we are now up to 4. Bunny has had 2 more hatch. Raven has from what I can tell 2 more eggs pipped.

You could be. I will say it is not as shockingly big as some of the previous chicks that have hatched so we will have to wait and see.

That's the pattern. Thinking light yellow with either the gold or red for the fin. If I make another wave blanket, I will definitely use the seahorse. The turtle was a finicky pain. I'm also thinking of doing one in reds-yellows like flames. Wonder if I can find a dragon and/or a phoenix appliqué pattern.....

Here are some patterns (images?) for the Phoenix. First one looks more like a chicken to me, but that isn't necessarily a bad thing

I was excited I caught the drip rings. The drip comes off her wattle because she always dunks them in the water when she stabs at the bowl to make sure the water is fully dead before she drinks it!

Bookmarked! Those are wonderful! I'm now thinking of trying to make something oriental: phoenix, oriental dragon, oriental lion, Crane, cherry/plum blossoms on some kind of misty mountain background.....long term project....

And the 1st one will likely wind up as a chicken on something.

I do think Aurora is a little over weight but that is her choice. I can't really stop her from eating. And now that she is queen, she has dibs on everything.

I also forgot to mention, all of Bunnie's chicks will be mixed, so the hard and fast rule of huge comb=boy is not going to be 100% accurate with hers.
