Hi people. Remember the sick hen I tried to help last weekend who died a couple days later? The necropsy results already came in. She had salpingitis AND peritonitis and they went septic. She also had a bacterial lung infection. The poor little thing didn’t really have a chance. How kind they were to take her in and try to save her. At least she wasn’t taken by a predator.

I find that EE’s are the friendliest of chooks. In my opinion, Rocks are next. Just my experience with them

I’ve only hsd one EE and she was Armpit Girl. Yep. Very friendly.

I took a good nap after that post but I slept too late to get to the farmers market. Fortunately they are open everyday.

I gave a leather sofa too this old guy the other day, he keeps the most beautiful dog in a cage in his living room, she has no life and he just can't see that at all

Yes Karen is one of mine. Good guess, she is very close to laying as well, but it was not her. The egg belongs to my Corona daughter Lilly.
