Thank you! Aside from my two cockerels Dean and Cass, he’s honestly my smallest boy... he’s quite tall though, and has plenty of attitude towards the other Roosters. He has gotten along well with Dean and Cass, prefers Dean because he’s also white. Chickens are very racist!Aren’t they all so cute! And Sammy looks MASSIVE beside them. He’s gorgeous!
Thanks! He might not be pure Leghorn, but aside from his earlobes it doesn’t really show. I need to get more videos, of everyone! Thanks for the videos @Kris5902 . I have seen Sammy in a while. He's as gorgeous as I remember.
That does look like a lap!It was only yesterday when I said about Charlie being flighty and she was “not a lap chicken”
Well she is making me out to be a liar!!

Yes, mine clam up when they see me “come to their defense” ( food bringer is here it’s all ok!), but this is getting to be something that could turn into a problem for me. Like the boy who cried wolf, this morning I awoke to the alarm calls, and thought “ugh, bet it is just the geese!” Which it was, but that slow response could be the difference between one loss and five in the event of an owl attack, as I sadly know. I sleep with the nerf gun loaded and primed next to my bed now.We have lots of turkey vultures. Tge girls always notice them, but will carry on if I reassure them, “It’s ok, it’s ok” in a sing-song voice.
That is some book you are reading there. Perhaps Mrs BY Bob would like that one!
More videos would be awesome! Thanks!I just can’t say I have a favorite Rooster! I love them all, but Sammy is a special boy he doesn’t mind being held, doesn’t get aggressive at all, and loves having his comb and wattles stroked.
