Could Sydney be Laying Watch

I noticed this yesterday with Lilly as well. Others are bathing but Sidney is just laying there looking around. Has anyone else ever seen this behavior because I do not remember seeing it before?

She looks like she’s just chilling. I’ve seen my girls do that.

Yesterday we built the girls a new climbing frame from an old pallet and some branches donated by our neighbour who asked if the girls would like them.

They have shown a lot of interest and enjoy the high perch
I do like a bit of a tip for a run..........and so apparently do chickens.

A Long Soak

Sometimes you just want to get into the tub and soak for while. It's not about getting clean it's about letting the cares of the world soak away. All this group needed was wine and candles yesterday. These are the least energetic dust baths I have ever seen!
:gig
I think Phyllis is trying to dig her way out.

Yes, mine clam up when they see me “come to their defense” ( food bringer is here it’s all ok!), but this is getting to be something that could turn into a problem for me. Like the boy who cried wolf, this morning I awoke to the alarm calls, and thought “ugh, bet it is just the geese!” Which it was, but that slow response could be the difference between one loss and five in the event of an owl attack, as I sadly know. I sleep with the nerf gun loaded and primed next to my bed now.
Are you're owls still out early morning then?

What happened after Bob. That looks like a broody posture especially with the head movements.
