It's All Over but the Cleanup

I took off the bottom board and glued it this morning. Everything is all set for now.

My paint job by lantern was not as good as I had hoped. 😆 Another coat of paint is in order for certain.
If we are having similar weather it is a GREAT day for painting - if you can swing a few minutes from work it will dry in no time.
It is 75 degrees here and bright sunshine - I just had to come in because I was getting over-heated outside!

I’m confused, maybe misunderstanding the previous post picture / text? Aurora and Sidney roosted together, or not? Did they roost together? And if so, then Aurora gets mean and Sidney moves?
Aurora is always pecky on the roost. Despite that Aurora and Sydney usually roost together. Last night Sydney decided to try the new middle roost. Whether she stays there or not will remain to be seen.

It is a direct flight up there with no in between step like the high roost which you can reach by first going to the main roost. So you really have to want to get up there.

As promised, the pic of the finished Fleur sweater.View attachment 3315563The "hood" is the cowl part from around the shoulders.

I want sure at first what I was looking at. Aside from the hands there is no human point of reference in this picture.

The work is amazing and I love the colors. Really great job. That is beautiful! 👍👍

Oh no! That looks like a real snow. I imagine they think it is all your fault. :gig

I confess I don't think I could cope with real snow this early on a regular basis. We did once get a big storm here in October and lost a lot of trees because the leaves were still on them. I spent the entire night (no exaggeration) going out with a long pole and bashing the snow off the trees around the house to preserve them and avoid roof disaster. But that was a freak event.

I reall like having seasons and would not want to live somewhere that didn't have all four of them, and I love them all in their own way, but they must stay firmly in the correct place in the calendar. That means strictly NO SNOW before mid-December!

Hope you were more prepared than I am right now - I still need to go around and pick up 'stuff' that will get buried and lost come snow.
I spent the weekend working outside in a T Shirt. I also love all 4 seasons but I don't think I will be too upset if the snow held off until January. Around here it usually snows around 12/5 for the first time.

I might just be dreaming of a Brown Christmas this year. 😆

Yes. A little breezy but perfect weather.
