Then don't take one. If you don't have the serious symptoms, what can you do beyond treating it like a nasty cold?

Exactly the debate I was having with myself.
Two reasons to test. First if I knew I was positive I would cancel some social events on Friday so as not to spread it around. Secondly I would probably get paxlovid from the doctor.

The one thing I know about baby quail is that they are super fast. This will be fun to follow along to. :pop
Quail are not set in stone. I have plans, silkie plans next year that I will not budge on. That said, lets just say dad opened up a can of worms with his quail talk. I've never really sat down and researched them. I really want to know what I'm in for before I jump the gun and get them. I will say with my other feathered friends want list quail are possibly the only thing I could be set up to realistically have. I want a emu, not enough space or proper fencing. I also would not mind a turkey, but I see it eating the neighbors. Rosie wants a goose, too messy and again, eating the neighbors. Quails are tiny, and possibly easily contained and I have to check but I think fairly quiet.
