35f is cold enough. Fog makes it seem colder.

I just covered the open areas of the coop so there will be no drafts and the chooks may be warmer. (Hopefully)

Oh my gosh, Bob! I missed this post. That is very scary. Did the branch break because of the weight of the ice? Or does the branch itself freeze and become brittle? Both? The icicles are beautiful. Too bad. They are so dangerous and cold.

It was the weight of all the ice that brought it down. It was only 28°F at the time.

I have not forgotten about Jaffar’s award presentation. It’s only that I can’t seem to get everyone together at the same time. It is frustrating! It’s only a small, short ceremony with friends and a super rooster Gezz
