This will fill my quota for quite a while.View attachment 3352497
Hmmm, what made me 'oh' isn't the snow. I don't see a distance/scale icon in the lower corner...so not really sure....but you don't seem to be terribly far from the melted down nuclear reactors (from the tsunami a few years ago) Hope it is just an optical delusion enhanced by not having a scale present...but do you have radiation meters???

Today's blood sugar levels have been much more manageable. Staying in the 200 to 240 range. That is still high, but is about normal for me when I am sick. I also do not panic and worry constantly over those numbers either.
This is very good news

Snowing about an inch per hour. Pretty impressed by the drivers. No way I'd be out in a blizzard in a compact car but the taxi driver didn't scare me at all. A couple of pictures with same view shows the storm as it progresses. And this is the first time I ever witnessed a thunderstorm with snow instead of rain. Thunder booming and lightning cracking while it was snowing sideways!View attachment 3352495View attachment 3352496
Thunder snow is a pretty crazy thing. The first time I experienced it scared the crap out of me.

This is good. It means your body is slowly getting to a better place, surgery wise.:celebrate

When I had my knee replaced, my sugar was very high - and unstable - for about a week...and then started to get much better:thumbsup:thumbsup So , I think you are on the right/good side of this now :)

P.S. You might find that post surgery, your blood sugars are much more stable, since a lot of the pain is gone. My HBA1c, initially, at just 7weeks post surgery, was 6.8 (unheard of for me!!!)

Unfortunately, then I went back to work with stress/meannie boss, etc...and not that good ever since :( Stress and pain just makes my blood glucose crazy. Hopefully for you, this surgery will help keep it in a much better place, long term!!!:fl:hugs:fl:barnie
It is dismaying to hear that work effects your sugar so much. :hugs :hugs

Broody Maleficent. Don't ask me why I was reminiscing about this today.
