This is good. It means your body is slowly getting to a better place, surgery wise.
When I had my knee replaced, my sugar was very high - and unstable - for about a week...and then started to get much better


So , I think you are on the right/good side of this now
P.S. You might find that post surgery, your blood sugars are much more stable, since a lot of the pain is gone. My HBA1c, initially, at just 7weeks post surgery, was 6.8 (unheard of for me!!!)
Unfortunately, then I went back to work with stress/meannie boss, etc...and not that good ever since

Stress and pain just makes my blood glucose crazy. Hopefully for you, this surgery will help keep it in a much better place, long term!!!
