Not really, I was improvingDid I miss where it says there will always be one?
How does that reconcile with the "named chickens don't count" Proof?

I think it is an arbitrary rule invented by Bob to make it more interesting. Otherwise almost all of us would have no chickens at all!Did I miss where it says there will always be one?

Bob's arbitrary rule reeks highly of "common core" math that failed in our school systems. Kentucky I think finally got rid of it. I live in KY, this rule should not apply to me. Besides most of the chicks all my chickens have names. How else am I going to get my number down to next to nothing from over 30 if you count the chicks.I think it is an arbitrary rule invented by Bob to make it more interesting. Otherwise almost all of us would have no chickens at all!
You mean the idea that "there's always one" is per Bob? Or that we're ignoring Proof #6: Named Chickens Do Not Count per Bob. I am so dense sometimes!I think it is an arbitrary rule invented by Bob to make it more interesting. Otherwise almost all of us would have no chickens at all!
Great photos! I love it. I don't put anything on my porch although I did paint it for easier poop removal.Seeing the hen's toes curled over it I realized I hadn't sanded down the porch edge. Removed the ladder and did it with a fine file today. Nice and soft now.

Lots of room, everybody up! Roosting time.
Popcorn on the ladder and Hazel at the top, Peanut on the litter by the log, Butters behind Hazel (she was first up).

They all paused before going in. Nice! Peanut's butt, left, and Hazel next to her, looking at her while in mid-groom. She preened a bit, and so did Popcorn there on the right. On the porch, @BY Bob !
Would it be more comfy to put something down on there like chopped hemp for them?

#6 named chickens. You mean the idea that "there's always one" is per Bob? Or that we're ignoring Proof #6: Named Chickens Do Not Count per Bob. I am so dense sometimes!
I guess there are three then!
Glynda does that when she is on duty. She always gets snacks. She needs to teach them to tap on the glass.... just saying!
That's correct. Most all of us have named our chickens. If we don't eliminate that one everyone's count would be 0.I think it is an arbitrary rule invented by Bob to make it more interesting. Otherwise almost all of us would have no chickens at all!
Over 30? What are their names?Bob's arbitrary rule reeks highly of "common core" math that failed in our school systems. Kentucky I think finally got rid of it.
