That is exactly what my two new babies do. I turn them upside down (supposedly to inspect for pasty butt, but in fact because they have adorable yellow fluffy tummies!) and they bicycle in my hand.She looks like she's doing those bicycle exercises where you lay on your back and "pedal" your legs in the air!
I thought two now and another two early next year. I was always thinking I was aiming for 6-8 and no more than 10. But now I see how crazy active these two are I am relieved I didn't get tempted to get three in one go!

That is good news though. Give him time. He too has been traumatized. When he is feeling better he will let the whole world know.I just fed Jaffar, and brought him out to be with the other birds. I don't think he wanted to go back outside, he seemed a little argumentative when I picked him up. But no bugs on him today. I'm hopeful that he will fully recover, but he hasn't crowed (as a rooster should) since the fly strike.I have had chickens for 3.5 years, and I'm thinking I know nothing about them anymore!
